My entire practice is devoted to representing people charged with felonies and misdemeanors in Travis and Williamson County. Originally from El Paso, TX, I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. After stints working at the Texas Legislature, as a Community College Instructor, and as a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, I decided to attend law school.
During law school I was awarded a judicial internship through the American Bar Association that landed me as an intern with United States Magistrate Judge Adriana Arce-Flores in the Southern District of Texas in Laredo, TX. After this experience, I concluded that I only wanted to practice criminal defense and have exclusively done so since becoming licensed to practice law in May 2007.
